Dear Gentle Readers,

After experiencing a few days of random literary encounters with Leonard Cohen, the fairly recently deceased, eternally sexy and elemental poet and singer-songwriter, I began to figure the charming old rogue’s ghost must be sending me a message about coincidence and fate, and that he intends to write my Friday miscellany for me.
